Andy Goldsworthy

Internationally renowned as both a sculptor and environmentalist, Goldsworthy is best known for working with natural materials including clay, stones, reeds, branches, leaves, snow and ice. His work includes Storm King Wall – a permanent 2,278 feet wall overlooking Moodna Creek, New York, conceived in response to British agricultural tradition.

Join us for a profound and thought-provoking discussion exploring Goldworthy’s highly influential body of work and how it provokes us to interrogate our relationship with land.

Dr James Fox is Director of Studies in History of Art at Emmanuel College, Cambridge, and Creative Director of the Hugo Burge Foundation. His recent book Craftland: A Journey Through Britain’s Lost Arts and Vanishing Trades was a Sunday Times bestseller and Book of the Week on BBC Radio 4. He is widely known for his BBC arts documentaries, including A History of Art in Three Colours, and for hosting the Stories of Art podcast.
