More About This Event

Gabrieli Roar: Purcell Dido and Aeneas with DRET

Gabrieli Roar is a choral singing programme for young people across the UK, involving young singers in professional performances. Working in partnership with schools, music hubs and cathedrals, we exist to increase the number and quality of singing opportunities available to all. We believe passionately that one of the most significant barriers to young people’s enjoyment of choral music is simply opportunity. The thrill of singing as part of a massed choir with orchestra and soloists never fails to engage our singers. They love it!

Performers will be representatives from the following Secondary Schools:
Bobby Moore Academy (London), Lodge Park Academy (Corby), Charnwood College (Loughborough), Malcolm Arnold Academy (Northampton), Humberston Academy (Cleethorpes), Skegness Grammar School
