Oakham School Big Band

Oakham School Big Band is the flagship jazz ensemble of Oakham School, bringing together talented young musicians for high‑energy performances of swing, jazz and Latin favourites. The band appears regularly at major school concerts and dedicated “Big Band Spectacular” evenings, and its players are experienced performers both on campus and across the region. Get ready for some Swing classics by legends Sammy Nestico and Henry Mancini, contrasted with some funky grooves from Stevie Wonder, Roger Ball and Hamish Stuart.
