What's On

School Readers

One in four children leaves primary school without reaching the expected standard in reading. This can make it harder for them to fully access their secondary education and may have a lifelong impact on their opportunities.

Schoolreaders is helping to improve children’s literacy by recruiting, training and placing volunteers in primary schools to listen to children read.

This fantastic organisation will be running a stall on:

  • 6th June
  • 7th June
  • 14th June
  • 20th June

They look forward to chatting with everyone, raising awareness about the work they do, and helping you learn more about how you can get involved.

Date: 6th, 7th 14th and 20th June
